Ambience is neat, but the main area is more in the rear area of ​​the restaurant, which makes the front room appear rather empty. Personnel are wanted for service and kitchen. Therefore, there is currently only one cook on site and if there is a lot going on, there may be waiting times.

A visit to the knight is definitely worth it if you like to eat steaks or if you want to eat whole "knight's skewers" (dish on the menu). In terms of price, I find it rather expensive, but people like to spend the money on this quality. It tastes fresh and you don't want to stop eating :-) so have a look. A real insider tip for me in Halle.

It was fun. We were in a group of 8 people. The ambience is quaint and the noisy crowd of knights is expected every moment. The menu is very extensive and it took us some time to choose the dishes. Everything tasted great. I had the broth myself, the capon pate with hot plum sauce and for dessert the Ritter Creme (creme brulee). The meat of the others was cooked right in front of the open grill. The service was super nice and attentive. The sanitary area is accessible via a spiral staircase and is clean.
